Short Yoga Practices for Balance

These short yoga sequences are intended to be here for you when a longer practice doesn’t fit, or when you are intentionally seeking to balance your energy. Practicing yoga is an act of balance, we are often in need of what is lacking or stagnant, or seeking to calm energy that is overpowering or in excess. I ask that you practice each sequence at least once as we tend to the weekly theme, and then come back to it anytime you need (this page is yours to visit beyond December).

Water: Flowy and subtle, when things feel sticky.

Fire: Active and heat-building, when you feel unmotivated or lethargic.

Shadow: Quiet, calm and introspective, when things feel busy and hectic.

Light: Energized and freeing, when things feel dark and heavy.
